When life gets too rushed and busy, it can sometimes be quite a hassle to take a step back and breathe.

 It’s so easy for even the smallest and simplest of the things,  in our daily lives, to become overcrowded and a nuisance to us. 

A heavy load is lifted off your shoulders once you finally take the time to tweak the littlest things in your life, making your life even just a tad bit easier to tackle. 

So, with that being said, here are 13 simple ways every girl can improve her lifestyle and make her life more put together and organized :)



 

#1 Clear Out Your Makeup

Get rid of those useless makeup samples and products that no longer have a value to you anymore. 

Make a promise to yourself that you’ll  stop buying makeup out of habit and ensure that you are only buying products that seriously resonates with you and the look you are going for.

 

#2 Switch Out Your Skincare Products

Take a piece of paper and write down your ideal skincare routine.

 Analyse and ensure that your skincare routine will be effective and has all the NECESSARY products that your skin will need to improve, glow and enhance your appearance. 

Research what skincare products and ingredients will make your skin look amazing and make sure to eliminate any harsh and concerning chemicals that might be situated in your skincare products. 

Two products you’ll most definitely need in your skincare kit would be a hydrating moisturizer and a facial cleanser/exfoliating scrub. 

 

#3 Join A Club That Teaches Skills

From a netball club to a martial arts class, improve your intelligence by participating and being educated on something useful and interesting. 

It doesn’t even have to be in person. There are so many great things you can learn and become an expert at online. 

 

#4  Create A Small, Secluded Library At Home

For the longest time, I’ve always just enjoyed reading eBooks. They just seemed so much more practical since my phone never really leaves my presence.

However, nowadays, I’ve really started to develop an interest for books that are physical. They get me out of my bed and I subconsciously start to actively read rather than passively. 

Also, the turning of the pages and the smell of the hard copy book itself, always have this soothing and relaxing notion to it, as weird as that might sound. 

Purchase a small shelf, buy a comfy bean bag chair and snuggle up in a quiet space in your home.

 

#5 Find A Cool Way To Monetise One Of Your Favourite Hobbies

Doing something you love and making some sort of income from it, is always a win in my books :)

 

#6 Clear Out Your Wardrobe

Yup! Take an entire day to try on every single item in your wardrobe and decide whether it is an item you really want to keep. 

Filter out all those clothing items that are no longer beneficial to you and donate them, transform them into something new or sell them. 

 

#7 Sort Out Your Entire Camera Roll

This is a great hack to resetting your life as it gives the impression of a new and fresh start which should motivate you to either start over or continue going. 

 

#8 Implement Some Sort Of Exercise And Workout Plan Into Your Daily Routine

I’m sure we are all aware how crucial and important exercise is. Not only does it enhance our physical appearance but most importantly, our health. 

 

#9  Attend Social Media Boot-camp

And by that, I simply mean transforming your social media accounts into an accurate replica of your personality and what you’d like others to view you as. 

Delete any photos that no longer represent you or what you stand for. 

Block and distance yourself from those who are starting to have a negative effect on your mental health. 

 

#10 Actually Start Using Sundays As Your Self-Care Day

It’s truly so important to take a day off and show some appreciation to your body. 

From physically enhancing the look of your appearance, to journalism and resetting your mind and thoughts.

#11 Get Lost In The World Of Podcasting 

Having someone saying the right, encouraging sentiments in your ear is an amazing way to truly find motivation in order to conquer those things that might seem so far away and hard to pass by. 

Better yet, why not start your own podcast and find those like minded people to connect and grow with?

It’s worth a try :)

 

#12 Know Your Neighbourhood

Believe me when I say that I love, love, love staying inside too.

However, 

It’s always good to be alert in regards to your surroundings and the people that are around you.  

Take a day to deepen your connection with loved ones, neighbours and your local area as a whole.

Find new locations to relax, find new places to have a brunch, find a good area to talk to other genuine people.

It’s all there in your neighbourhood so go ahead and find it :)

 

#13 Transform The Feel And Look Of Your Home To Reflect The Best Version Of Yourself

In other words, clean up your space, add new homely assets, and give the air a fresh and sweet scent.
