15 Cosy Series To Binge-Watch This Fall (Girly & Aesthetic Picks)

15 Cosy Series To Binge-Watch This Fall (Girly & Aesthetic Picks)

Autumn is such a rich and flavourful season. It’s a time of reflection, slowing down, and finding joy in romanticising the little things. The beauty of nature seems to cast a soft, golden glow that touches everyone, yet for busy girlies, it can sometimes feel hard to truly catch the autumn vibe. That’s where this guide comes in.

I’ve put together a girly list of binge-worthy shows that radiate fall energy, so whether you’re craving cosy comfort, romantic escapism, mysterious twists, or even a little spooky magic. What better way to embrace the warm transformation of autumn than by curling up under a blanket, sipping something hot, and losing yourself in a series that feels like pure seasonal bliss?

So, here are 15 shows to save and binge-watch this fall!

Let’s Dive In :)

Hey Girlie :) Why Not Pin This Post For Later?

For The Cosy & Feel-Good Vibes

1. Gilmore Girls

(Comedy-Drama / Cosy Small-Town Aesthetic)

Not a shocker to you, you probably knew Gilmore Girls would be on this list, and correct you were.

I find it to be the ultimate fall comfort show and the perfect little getaway. The endearing town of Stars Hollow presents Rory and Lorelai’s where their witty banter is addictive, their cosy coffee dates are dreamy, and the heartwarming small-town traditions are an escape from reality.

Nothing screams “fall binge” more than this classic. (See trailer below).

2. Pushing Daisies

(Fantasy Romance / Whimsical Cosy Aesthetic)

If you’re looking for that vibrant, fairy-tale-like series that blends romance, mystery, and a dash of magic, then this show is definitely for you.

Ned, a pie-maker, is our protagonist in this series, and he’s a fascinating young fellow who has the power to bring the dead back to life with a simple touch. This leads to quirky mysteries and a dreamy romance with his childhood sweetheart.

So, if you’re looking for a visually stunning, heartwarming, and cosy, girly energy that feels perfect for fall, be sure to give it a watch. (See trailer below).

3. Anne with an E

(Period Drama / Wholesome Cottagecore)

Stumbling upon this show on Netflix felt like a blessing. I didn’t really know what to expect, but for some reason, I was hooked from the first few episodes, and I never turned back. It really was a breath of fresh air.

It adopts a new concept inspired by Anne of Green Gables, which explains why this show feels like stepping into a little world of vintage autumn aesthetic. The series is filled with girly optimism, gorgeous countryside visuals, and the kind of soft storytelling that makes you want to wear puff-sleeve dresses, cottagecore ball gowns and sip tea. (See trailer below).

Recap: Series to give you that cosy & feel-good feeling this autumn are…

  • Gilmore Girls

  • Pushing Daises

  • Anne with an E

For The Magical & Spooky Vibes

4. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

(Supernatural Drama / Witchy Gothic Aesthetic)

Interestingly, my introduction to this world was from Archie comics. The illustrations were good, but the vibe is really embodied in this series, which is moody, mysterious, and a little dark.

This show showcases Sabrina’s world with magic, gothic visuals, and spooky autumn vibes, which is perfect for nights when you want something mystical and dramatic. (See trailer below).

5. Wednesday

(Supernatural Mystery / Dark Academia Goth)

This show has quickly become a fall favourite. Everyone loves Wednesday Addams…I know I do.

Follow her journey as she navigates life at Nevermore Academy, where the atmosphere is chilling and spooky mysteries are around every corner. It showcases a dark academia aesthetic, so although thrilling, there’s still a warm feeling with the characters.

Grab that fluffy blanket, make yourself a pumpkin latte, and you’ve got the perfect autumn evening. (See trailer below).

6. The Vampire Diaries

(Supernatural Romance / Cosy-Spooky Classic)

Just like the Twilight series, this classic series has all the fall energy.

Our supernatural characters are situated in a small town where the drama and romance won’t stop. This is perfect for you if you love a cute thrill.

It’s cosy and addictive…the perfect combination. (See trailer below).

Recap: Series to give you that magical and spooky feeling this autumn are…

  • Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

  • Wednesday

  • The Vampire Diaries

For The Romantic & Girly Escapes

7. Emily in Paris

(Romantic Comedy / Chic & Feminine)

At one time, this series really had the girlies in a chokehold. It’s a cute, girly, fashion-filled escape to the dreamy streets of Paris.

If a funny, chaotic journey of romance, glamour and vibrant city life is what you're thirsting for, then join along the adventurous ride. Get inspired by the fashionable Emily and fall in love with her vibrant personality. (See trailer below).

8. Bridgerton

 (Period Romance / Feminine Glamour)

Even if you’ve never watched this series, I know you’ve definitely heard of it. If you’re ready to pry your eye into an aesthetic world of fancy gowns, forbidden love, and an amazing music soundtrack, then it’s time to add Bridgerton to your daily task list. The romance, drama and dreamy visuals never stop with this one. (See trailer below).

9. The Summer I Turned Pretty

(Romantic Drama / Nostalgic & Cosy)

I know, I know. The word ‘summer’ in the title is the total opposite of what this post claims to offer. But there’s something soft, warm and nostalgic about this particular series that makes it a great pick for your early autumn days. (See trailer below).

Recap: Series to give you that romantic and girly feeling this autumn are…

  • Emily In Paris

  • Bridgerton

  • The Summer I Turned Pretty

For The Thrilling Mystery Nights

10. Stranger Things

(Supernatural Thriller / Retro Spooky Nostalgia)

…but don’t be a stranger to binge-watching this amazingly filmed series this autumn.

It’s set in the '80s, and the supernatural mysteries are what will have you coming back and back again every episode for sure. If an eerie autumn atmosphere is what you crave, here’s your spooky, late-night watch. (See trailer below).

11. You

(Psychological Thriller / Dark Romance)

I never really got to finish this series, but I know enough to tell you that it’s twisted, creepy and dangerously addictive (which is ironic since I was only one or two episodes in before never resuming. heehee :).

Nevertheless, if you love a thrilling psychological adventure, then you should definitely get to know Joe Goldberg. A man who is all too obsessed and has a dark side that is triggering. Good luck! (See trailer below).

12. Only Murders in the Building

(Mystery Comedy / Cosy Modern Whodunit)

A scary title, but this series is filled with an energy that is quirky and witty.

Being that it is situated in New York City, the eccentric atmosphere is no surprise.

ANYWAYS, this show is for those who love a funny, suspenseful mystery that you can snuggle up in a warm blanket during autumn evenings. (See trailer below).

Recap: Series to give you that thrilling mystery feeling this autumn are…

  • Stranger Things

  • You

  • Only Murders In The Building

For The Dark Academia & Aesthetic Vibes

13. The Queen’s Gambit

(Drama / Dark Academia Glamour)

After completing a long-winded personality test, this series was identified as a split image of my personality style -INTJ. I don’t know whether I agree or disagree, but ANYHOO…

This is a show set in the 1960s, where the beautiful and talented chess prodigy Beth Harmon deals with her own reality while still pursuing greatness. I would say it also gives a dark academia aesthetic as well, with the ambience being moody and the fashion being vintage. It has all the right colours and tones for an autumn watch, with her red hair reflecting this successfully. (See trailer below).

14. Big Little Lies

(Mystery Drama / Glamorous Small-Town Secrets)

Indulge in the lives of a group of women and see what dark secrets they hide behind the curtains. Their life isn’t as perfect as it seems…find out why.

It’s a mysterious and glamorous watch, making it the perfect cosy autumn binge. (See trailer below).

15. A Series of Unfortunate Events

(Dark Comedy / Quirky Gothic Aesthetic)

Despite the title, this will not be an unfortunate watch for you at all. The air has a gloomy but whimsical feel that echoes throughout the series.

It introduces the story of the Baudelaire orphans and captures fanciful storybook visuals and narration perfectly. A must-watch for this fall. (See trailer below).

Recap: Series to give you that dark academia & aesthetic feeling this autumn are…

  • The Queen’s Gambit

  • Penny Dreadful

  • A Series Of Unfortunate Events
