How To Start A 30-Day Glow-Up & Become Unrecognizable (Week 1 Reset)

Week 1: The Reset Phase

This 30-day glow-up will be all the structure and intention you need to finally feel put together and step into your level-up era.

Your unrecognisable element doesn’t come from people looking at you in awe, wondering how you managed to do a complete 180; it comes from a mindset shift and internal wiring changing. This thereby allows you to step into the best version of yourself.

A glow-up is sometimes hard to start. We’re constantly evolving, and there’s no permanent end in sight. But this 30-day transformation is designed to give that evolution some direction, helping you to reset, realign, and move forward with intention.

Let’s Start Week One, The Reset Phase:

Day 1: Create Your Vision Board 

Creating a vision board is a visual way for you to finally see who you’re no longer going to be.

It allows you to clearly picture the version of yourself you’ve always dreamt of and are willing to put the work in to achieve.

You’re now in a new season, and aligning your life in a way that pushes you closer to becoming her is the perfect first step. 

With your vision (or bingo) board, visually define:

  • Your improved lifestyle

  • Your improved appearance

  • Your improved habits

  • Your improved confidence

  • Your improved mindset


Day 2: Invest In A Glow-Up Planner

Glow-ups don’t just happen by accident; they happen through awareness and intention.

A glow-up planner is usually inexpensive but incredibly powerful. It becomes the place where you reflect, track patterns, and actively move yourself into your next chapter.

This is where you become deeply self-aware, identify limiting behaviours, and take back control over what you can change.

Whether it's a Notion template, a PDF printable, or a physical journal, you need a planner that encourages growth over perfection and helps you change your daily defaults.

Try Etsy and look for a glow-up planner that includes pages for:

  • Vision & identity building

  • Daily habit tracking

  • Reflection & journaling prompts

  • Goal setting & alignment

  • Self-awareness & mindset shifts


Day 3: Curate Your Digital Environment

This step is essential if you want a visible lifestyle and mindset change.

Our digital lives play a huge role in shaping our character and identity.

Without leaving your bed, you can form habits, beliefs, and confidence levels simply from what you consume daily.

So today, it’s time to use that to your advantage.

  • Clear out old photos & screenshots

  • Archive or delete outdated chats

  • Unsubscribe from unwanted emails

  • Sort & Organise digital files

  • Audit your phone apps & reduce clutter

  • Unfollow accounts that drain your energy

  • Refresh your social media aesthetics

  • Set app limits to reduce scrolling

  • Clear your email inbox

  • Detox who you follow & stop doom scrolling

  • Unplug for a full day


Day 4: Clean One Area You Spend A Lot Of Time In:

I know, I know😩.

After an extensive digital reset on day 3, the last thing you want to do is clean again. But this step matters more than you think.

Think about the space you spend a lot of time in:

  • Your bedroom

  • Your car

  • Your desk or workspace

Today, deep-clean just one of these areas properly.

This is likely something you’ve been meaning to do for a while but kept putting off. Now is the moment to elevate it.

If there are items you know you need, order them now. Don’t waste days searching for the perfect product or review.

Sometimes, momentum matters more than perfection during a glow-up journey.


Day 5: Create Your ‘Capture The Moment’ Jar

Daily journaling isn’t always realistic, but documenting your life story is important. Believe me, you’ll thank yourself that you did so. 

The “Capture the Moment” jar is a rendition of the gratitude jar. Each day, write:

  • One thing that happened (good or bad)

  • Your mood

  • The date

Fold it up and place it in the jar.

Over time, this becomes a beautiful reflection of your growth, your emotional journey, and the quiet moments that shaped this glow-up.


Day 6: Create A Morning & Night Routine That Works

You want a routine that feels safe and relaxing, while still encouraging productivity and momentum for the next day. A good routine should calm your nervous system and gently prepare you to show up as your best self.

Day 7: Research Her

And by “her,” I mean the woman you’re intentionally becoming.

This is your invitation to be curious about every aspect of her, such as her interests, her standards, and the things that make her feel elegant, captivating, and more aligned than where you are right now.

Sit down with your planner, journal or even a piece of paper, and take time to answer these questions. Think of this as researching your future self, gathering clarity rather than expecting perfection.

These interesting questions get you one step closer to becoming her:

  • How many languages does she speak, and what are they?

  • What’s one subject or topic that she’s deeply passionate about?

  • What are three countries she will soon visit and why?

  • What does a fun, exciting day in her life look like?

  • What does a calm, quiet, joy-filled day look like for her?

  • What is her dream career, role, or business plan?

  • What skills is she actively developing?

  • What are her standards when it comes to friendships, romantic relationships, and just how people treat her?

  • What does she value now more than she used to?

You’re not expected to embody all of this already, but it’s great to gain clarity and a clear picture of who you’re becoming so that you can now move more intentionally in the right direction, one choice at a time.
